Guild Wars 2

I’m playing GW2 with 3 friends. Most of the missions aren’t well suited to more than two people, its just too easy. Do the world events scale for the number of players participating? Is there any other content for GW2 that would work well for 3 players? I don’t see us doing a lot of PvP, at least initially (my friends are lvl 10).

Try do it without armor, naked, the barbarian way! No traits can be fun aswell.

They do scale towards the amount of numbers participating. Eventho most of the dynamic events (in the starter zones) are kitten easy even if they are scaled.

Well for dungeons and FoTM you need 5 players. So you need to find 1 more fwiend.
Besides that, the further you come the more challenging it will become, the start can be easy but later on it will be more challenging.

In the world of PvP you get to 80 right away, you will have acces to all traits and skills inside PvP. Your level does not affect you in PvP.

If you start playing WvW (wich is PvP aswell with some PvE elements) your level does matter. If you’re not max level you will be upscaled and enemies can see you are upscaled and most kill you fairly easy just to troll you.

Keep playing the game with your fwiends. If you’re fwiends are still level 10 they are still in their first zone, those zones are super easy, later on you will find dynamic events who are harder to complete, world bosses and so on.

If one or more fwiends of you are higher then the lowest level and you are doing dynamic events that suit the level of your lowest fwiend, they will be even more easy, even though you get downscaled to the level of the dynamic event you are stronger and do more damage.

Not really, most if not all dungeons and even FotM can be done by 3-4 people (not sure though wether this is about 3 or 4 people either), it’s just a bit more challenging and a matter of practice.

I didn’t mention this on purpose, since it’s more challenging and bit more knowledge about the content you are playing. For players who start doing it its smarter to start with a full party.

The lower end zones are too easy when downscaled, especially in a 4 man grp. Wait till you hit the 60+ zones, especially Orr and champion events. Downscaling isn’t what you have in mind.
Fractals will be great for your group.
WvW will be great with a 4 man team – be sure to hit max level beforehand and gear up.
Dungeons can be good too.
Although this game can be heavily solo’d, there’s plenty to do that requires other people.

4-man is perfect for a WvW roaming squad.

Dungeons are an obvious choice as well.
