Guild Wars 2

What in general is good for a new player to work on? I am a necro and was thinking of tailoring and I dunno the one that makes staffs and such, so I could equip myself, but in my MMO experience in the past usually you craft much slower than you level. In your opinion whats good to craft in that can help and maybe makes some coin?

In general, Crafting isn’t a good way to make money, since until you get to later levels then it isn’t worth it.

However, it is useful to pick up crafting for the Daily. Cooking also gives you buffs, and it’s quite easy to gear through Karma merchants.

Also I was server hoping checking out various communities. I was planning on going back to Tarnished coast cause it seemed to fit for me but alas that patch made it now so it cost 1800 gems to do so. Which hurts cause I was 4 hours being able to transfer before it went live. Would it be worth it to still move over? I know I can guess but then I do no get any guild perks, and WvW with them won’t work. You guys think its worth it to move? Or should I go up the customer service ladder complaining until someone shuts me up by giving me one last free transfer?

No one will get a free transfer at this point, unfortunately. Your best bet is to save up gold to convert to gems.

And if you like the community there, definitely guest anyway. There’s plenty to do outside of WvW, and the guild perks aren’t too major in the grand scheme of things.
