Good outfit that isn't too flashy
All characters can wear all outfits. That’s one of the big differences between outfits and armour.
Some of them will change depending on your character though. Many have male and female versions and some (the Wedding Outfit especially) have different versions for each race as well.
But all that means is if you’re going for a specific look you need to preview it on the character you want to wear it.

Hello,
Wondering if anyone has good suggestions for an outfit. I have a warrior whose background is more a “tavern champion” and I wanted an outfit that wasn’t too flashy or bulky. Rather an outfit (or could be armor set) that is more a mix of armor an normal clothing. There are a lot of cool armor sets & outfits but I’m going for more of a scrapper-look that doesn’t look like a tank or mighty warrior.
I was thinking the monk outfit would look good or the pirate outfit. Any other good ideas?
Also, if I get the monk outfit, I can wear that right? I think so but want to be sure. It wouldn’t be the first time that I get something that I can’t use
Ty for any suggestions!
When leveling a new toon, I like to use the pirate outfit with the hat hidden. It’s nothing fancy or flashy, and no goofy butt-cape.
True, have to remember to hide the hat, then it’s less flashy. I’ll have to do some more browsing, ty for the ideas!
On my warrior, I use the Scallywag chest piece for a non-bulky look. (The rest of the outfit is the heavy aetherblade legs/gloves/boots… but that might be too flashy/bulky for your tastes)

I’m fond of the Jungle Explorer outfit. No trench coat, pants, and not ornate. I’m not a fan of massively over-ornate looks, and unfortunately, many of the outfits (and some of the armor) are exceedingly busy.
