Guild Wars 2

Basically, I very much like the idea of working my way towards gaining a legendary weapon. I’ve broken down all the materials and as I’m sure we all know, the main component needed is gold.

I currently have 56gold and with precursor weapons being as highly priced as they are I feel like I’ll need 800-900g (depending on how many ecto’s I can get from finding rares).

I am not looking to play 24/7 and try to get like 20g a day or something, I’m fine with just farming like 3-5g a day over hopefully just a few hours so my question is, where are the best places to farm and do I need MF gear? I already use omnomberry bars but since my main is a necromancer (conditions) I feel like MF gear wouldn’t overly work.

TL:DR – Just list some good farming places if you know any.

Dungeons, there isn’t really any place you can farm because loot in this game suck.

I have been doing my share of CoF runs but it seems like less and less people are doing those runs so I figured there were better ways to make gold.

The best “place” to farm right now are the fractals,any level will do as you have great chances for rares,exotics,lodestones and many many more things.
For places around the world I would not recommend looking at “areas” but at the type of monsters,e.g air elementals drop Charged Lodestones which sell pretty well(you can get an average of 1 per 90 minutes if you are on HIGH MF)
MF in general will help, a lot, with MF you won’t see more loot, but better,which means more fine mats,more rares etc.
