Guild Wars 2

Hello, Me and a friend of mine are going to start our adventure in the gw2 world, however, I don’t know a good server. I’ve been playing since last week, my friend will start tomorrow.

Right now I’m playing at Dragonbrand, I rarely see people at leveling zones, like Brisban Wildlands, Gendarran Fields or Kessex Hills. Sometimes I find a champion in those zones, and I can’t do anything to kill it, since not one single soul says something in /m.

Is there a server that has a lot of people around the world, and that has lots of pve guilds?

SoS has a large community. At night time you find all the aussies on the server, and over the day all the americans. However most of them hang around Queensdale and Frostgorge (champ trains) or in LA. We suck at www and we can’t get any coordinated events example Teq done but if you like just having people around and looking for a lot of pve guilds, that might be one of the servers you wanna look at.

Blackgate is a very nice server as well with a nice and friendly community, I guest a lot on that server especially when I plan on getting things done. I am not sure about their guilds since it’s not my home server, but if I had the choice today I would transfer to that server at anytime.

Don’t leave Dragonbrand. Dragonbrand is one of the few servers that kills Teq regularly. Also in the top 10 WvW.

I run a Guild on Dragonbrand, but we occasionally guest to other servers to do events or help out, and all of the low level areas across most servers are dead. So moving to a new server won’t really help you out. What I reccommend for you and your friend is to join a Guild so you will have people to play with regardless of what zone you are in. People tend to migrate to where the Living Story is for the achievements, so go check out areas like Queensdale because it has both the Living Story and Champ train currently.

Desolation. Levelers in all zones and regular Tequatl kills.
