Hello! Just coming back after a break.. and decided I want to try a new build on my warrior. Bought the GrandMaster’s Training Manuel to reset my traits (I’m lvl 80) and it’s not working. Tried double-clicking on it, right-clicking and picking “use”, but all it does it make a click sound. Nothing happens and it stays in my inventory. Am I missing something? Thanks!

Unfortunately, you probably already used the grandmaster training manual before you took your break. So, a wasted 2 gold there. What you want to do to reset traits is go to the trait person, and instead of saying you want to buy a book, choose the other option which is something like “I’d wish to reset my traits” or something. They’ll ask are you sure? It costs about 3 silver or something

Wow! Bummer. So what’s the point of buying the book if you can reset it for 3 silver.

You need the book the first time you get to lvl 60+ to unlock the 21-30 trait points in each line.

You have to unlock the trait levels once, so it’s a mandatory 3 + gold. After that, you can do what you want for a cheap price. Probably has something to do with vertical progression, instead of just letting you unlock the traits whenever you want

If it helps you can put the manual up on the marketplace for sale and get some of your money back.

If it’s soulbound it wouldn’t be on the trading post :p

I think the book is transferable so you can give it to another character….as I recall, they are not even Account Bound.
