This topic pertains solely with mob drop chance(tagging).

So it has been made quite clear that there is an advantage in tagging a boss if you are in a Group vs. Solo.

Question: Does being in a Squad, increase or decrease your chance of a drop verses your chance of a drop, if you are in a Group?

Being in a group or squad does not influence your chance at getting loot other than enabling you to tag mobs easier for credit.

Thank you, but unfortunately that does not answer my question, allow me to reiterate with clarification.

Clarified Question: Does being in a Squad, increase, decrease or not affect your chance of a drop tagging a mob verses your chance of a drop tagging a mob, if you are in a Group?

Your question was about drops. The second part of my post addressed your new question.

It doesn’t affect your drops or your ability to tag at all. Groups and squads just make it easier to get a gold medal in participation for events, which in turn gives you better rewards. If you’re a solo player at the same event you’re being compared to the group and that could explain the weird reason for getting a bronze.

If squads function at all like parties, it does help you with tags. Most of the time you only need to tap something to get credit whereas you would have to had to do a certain amount of damage, killed a certain number of mobs, or whatever.
