Guild Wars 2

Was wanting to make a guardian, heard they had a low HP pool. Was reading in world chat they increased the base HP pool. This true? Can’t find any notes on it.

Nope, Guardians still have around 10k at level 80 (at least today until a few minutes ago).

It’s not really bad, but it’s… weird. I was expecting them to have one of the largest health pools because of their nature.
But it doesn’t make them bad anyhow.

Guardians and elementalists have lowest base hp. Although guardians are still amazing they have the highest base toughness and if you make vitality a main stat you’re looking at one tanky beast.

I have a lvl 80 guardian so I know.

I think they gave them the lower health pool cause they have lots of heals and protections to mitigate damage. I’ve only played my guardian to level 20 but I find it to be the most survivable character I currently have. Even in WvW I can usually take a beating and still walk out alive despite not having all my skill slots yet.
