Guild Wars 2

I’ve tried both classes.

If Guardian set up will be: Staff/Greatsword.

If Elementalist set up will be: Staff.

Please post your answer and say why. This toon will become my main toon and I’d like help in deciding. I will be doing practically everything in game with this toon, but mainly WvW.

It totally depends what you like in WvW and what your goal is. I have a Guardian (I prefer scepter shield for ranged but ok) and I have an ele for events.

Ele is great for big zerks to aoe the enemy’s while hiding in the zerg but for things outside the zerg they are less in survivabillity then the guardian.

Limiting your self to staff/gs/staff is putting unneeded restrictions on both classes, I play guard as main and carry one of every weapon and 2 extra sets, mostly WvW.
