I’m still a bit foggy on what this is, but what I’ve gathered is that you can temporarily visit another server without switching to it? If this is true, do you need a counterpart in the other server to invite you or whatever?

And finally, my real question, if this is all true, could I guest in a server that I’m playing against in wvw in order to complete those maps without waiting for rotation?

Yes, you can easily guest on any server. Guesting is accessed on the chara selection screen in the bottom corner. No, you do not need an invite. And no, you cannot WvW while guesting. You will get shunted back to your actual server if you try to jump to WvW.

Guesting in WvW would lead to spying, bandwagoning, backstabbing, trakittenalking, harassment, confusion, breakdown of server identity, suspicion, and general chaos… So yeah.

Oh yeah definitely :p I didn’t really think it through ‘cause I don’t play it that often. Fair enough in that case.
