hello everybody,
if you have ever been in stronghold of ebonhawke, you might notice some books.
there are 20 in total. when you read them it must not be gradually ( 1- 20/ I – XX )
you will earn an achievement.

Do you have to read them in order? What is the achievement?

I just saved your map to my hard drive. May I upload this baby into the GW2 wiki?

no you dont need to read them in order.
i did it by myself some hours ago and i got my achievement points at book 18, because it was the last one i have read for the first time.
so yeah its random in which order, i guess^^

youll get 5 achievement points and “speedy reader” or something like that it was called.

10 achievement points for “Speedy Reader”. The graphic looks like a puzzle achievement, but even after it’s earned, it does not show.

Thanks, I figured there was an achieve for this but didn’t know where all the books were.

seen the books and noticed there was multiple always was going back to find the others and read the whole thing just out of curoiusity but its a nice if i get an achievement for it

Just found out about this achievement. Tried 3 times and didn’t get achievement.
1st time: just followed the picture and did it out of order (noted every book in notepad so I don’t miss any).
2nd time: read every book in order from 1 to 20, still no achievement
3rd time: I knew where every books location was by now, had map on second monitor for reference and did a speed run with quite efficient route to read all 20 books as fast as possible out of order (thought maybe “speed reader” is about reading books as fast as possible) and still no achievement!!!

Sorry to necro this, but i cant seem to get the achievement either, among with some guildies =(

I wasn’t able to get the achievement a few months ago. I guess I was hoping i could come back after they fixed it. Still waiting it appears.
