Just want to share a HowTo for the Train in the Queensdale area, especially for New Players (or players that haven’t done it before and want to know about it and how to take part in it). There is a labelled map with arrows that show where to go and the Waypoints used. The article also has suggestions (like running to the Waypoints first, if you don’t have them already) and lightly discusses whether you should even do it or not. The tutorial can be found here:

Nicely done. That said I noticed the bandit was left off, not sure about all servers but I know it is on the standard route on JQ.

Some do bandit others don’t. Some do bandit after troll and then do oak. Some do it after spider and before boar to kill time while waitng for the lodgemaster.

Our server does bandit after troll, then oak. In the time waiting for the Boar, when the Wasp is not initiated, I go through my pack, storing collectables, selling on the Black Lion TP and salvaging.

Yes, I hear that many shards do Bandit and Wasp, and while I mention Bandit in the article, I didn’t mark it on the map as I was just getting the ‘main’ ones down (Boar-Troll-Oak-Spider) that it seems every server does for sure (is mine really the only one that doesn’t do Bandit? lol). I’m working on a second map that shows the Alternates (Bandit, Wasp, etc) but haven’t completed it yet.

That’s a lot of text to explain the easiest and most mind-numbing activity in the game. Goodjob on writing a guide though. I would personally have included Bandit, whether your server does it or not. Going Troll > Bandit > Oak > Spider > Boar will yield more bags/hour (due to the ~5-6 minute wait at Boar) without adding any Waypoint-costs. I tend to guest to Desolation during my daily just to get a server that’s smart enough to not skip it.

The wait at boar is perfect for inventory management – there’s a merchant right there. And we start at Troll so you can immediately get 2 champs (bandit for those servers that do it) before you have to spend money waypointing instead of what the guide said about starting at boar.

You told of having to start Boar by talking to the lodgemaster but you didn’t tell of having to start Troll by taking the Runestone. Also mention that Shadow Behemoth will prevent Oakheart from appearing until after you take down Shadow Behemoth and that SB has to be manually activated by talking to Sister Brenda outside the Monestary or by doing the collection event to get the ale back from the Centaurs and then talking to her.

Also tell of the courtesies please, wait at each champ (except bandit for some reason… lol ) for the group to get there so all can benefit, it’s 15 seconds at most, you can do it!

SOS starts with Boar:

Boar, Troll, Bandit, (SB), Oak, Spider, (Wasp), and back to Boar.

Note: SB and Oak has been broke for a week on SOS server

As mentioned above, missed Bandit and no mention of Wasp (usually someone runs from Spider to see if Wasp is active while another goes and starts the Boar event. It’s usually pretty easy to pull the Wasp Queen to near “Bacon Hill” so everyone waiting there (for the Boar) will get in on the Wasp Kill (she takes a bit longer to die as she disappears and summons some minions a few times before dying).

Angelica: Broken events like this CAN be fixed but it’s not easy….you have to get ALL players to exit the zone and let it reset (I have no idea if that is immediate or takes some short period of time).
