Guild Wars 2

I wanted to use the guild armorer to buy a guild backpack to represent my main guild with, so I joined and represented another guild that had the contract. Unfortunately, even when representing this guild, the NPC still said that my guild needed an armorer contract. I tried this with another guild that had a contract just to be sure that the problem wasn’t whether the guild I was representing actually had one. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Someone suggested that I may have to wait some period of time before the armorer is useable, is this correct?

Are you located on the same server as your guild?

Typically the main body of each guild is on one server. That’s the server that gets all the benefits from influence. People on different servers currently can’t access those guild banks or guild armorers because those servers haven’t accumulated enough influence.

If the different server is not the issue, then it’s your current rank in the guild you’re representing. The option “allowed to represent the guild” must be enabled for this rank to get access to the guild vendors.

Alright, thanks for the responses. I actually wasn’t on the same server that the guild was concentrated in. However, guesting to that server didn’t seem to do the trick, and I noticed that when I went to the guild upgrades tab in the guild window, it still said “Tarnished Coast influence” (which is my server rather than the server I was a guest to). I think the only solution may be to find a TC guild that is willing to temporarily admit me and promote me to a rank that can represent the guild.

If you message me in-game (at my forum username) then you can guest over to Eredon Terrace and join my private guild and access my guild armorer for your backback needs. That is, if I understand what you are looking for correctly.

Guesting to a server will not give u the perks that the server has. Whatever perks your guild has for your server follows u even when guesting. The only way to fix this is to transfer your characters to another server that has those perks.
