Our guild has been thinking of picking up the guild bounty or another starting type of guild mission. Although we haven’t a clue as how to do this. I can see the rank 2 guild bounty, rush etc. although how do we unlock the first one?

You need rank 5 art of war
then you can unlock guild bounty
then you build a guild bounty (either rank 1 2 or 3)
then you go to upgrades and activate it

From there you do this big round robin type thing where you unlock trek, rush, challenge and puzzle by having the previous one unlocked.

This is correct. I’ll add detail for clarity:

For you to get Art of War rank5 you will need to unlock first:
“Art of War rank1” – 500 I.P. (Influence Points)
“Art of War rank2” – 1,000 I.P.
“Art of War rank3” – 5,000 I.P.
“Art of War rank4” – 10,000 I.P.

“Art of War rank5” – 20,000 I.P.

then

“Guild Bounties Unlock” – 30,000 I.P.

TOTAL (I.P.) = 66,500 I.P.

I recommend that you start doing also after “Art of War rank3” is unlocked the “Guild Bounty Training” as it rewards 3,000 I.P. when it is successful.

/cheers

Yip after building the Guild Bounties unlock you can build a guildbounty. My guild has on average 4 bounties ready to activate and 2 guild bounty training missions. We aren’t a big guild so we sometimes fail the bounty. So its good to always be able to start a new one.

Keep in mind that the guildbounties are the only guildmission that can be unlocked without using merits. Cause guildmissions are the only way of getting merits the bounties are the only thing you can start with.

Thank you all for the help! How many players are needed for the guild bounty at the lower ranks? We are missing a couple guild mates at the moment since they had to go and have a newborn.

Thanks again gang!

It depends on the skill level of each player and which target you get. Some targets, like Devious Teesa, can be taken down with six players- others, like Bwikki, are harder due to condition/AoE spam. At the very least, your members must know how to move and dodge to avoid damage.

If you could PM me in-game with your server, I might be able to let you come along on our next bounty to see what it’s like.

5 is enough for a tier 1. You could get a way with less if you are lucky with the targets. The main challenge with a small grou kitten earching some of the bigger paths. Having all the relevant maps fully explored by all participants is very helpful.

You will also with a mixed group. An all DPS group will probably explode from conditions, an all tank group would probably fail to kill within the time limit. For several of the targets you’ll want a decent amount of condition removal. Some will require disabling auto attack. You can ignore all of the above for Trillia.

Even though the NPCs patrol around, they CAN leash to the spot where you activated them.

Some bounty bosses can be killed with a small party. Some will give you trouble. And others I’d probably call impossible. You also have to find each bounty boss, which can mean even the easiest ones to kill may lose you the bounty because you cant find them. In general having 10 people would be optimal for a T1 (2 groups of 5, 1 group for each boss.) 15 for a T2 (3 bosses, 3 groups) and then 20-30 for a T3 (with 4 groups, you do the 4 easiest, then 2 groups go for 1 boss 2 for the other, or whatever your guild decides.)

You can do a T1 with 5 people, but it will be difficult.

This isnt a strict list, but in my experience

Ander
big mayana
bwikki
brekkabek
crusader
deputy brooke
Teesa
poobadoo
shaman
short fuse
trillia

are all fairly easy to find and kill for a 5 man group. (Some boss tactics are hard. But if your team knows them you’ll do ok)

The rest are… oddities
2mult – easy to find. Next to impossible to kill with small groups
tarban – easy to find. Next to impossible to kill with small groups
kamali – easy to find. easy to kill with small groups. Next to impossible to kill with large groups. He’s got this spot on this list because he’s basically the only boss ive fought that got stupidly difficult the more people brought to him.
Prisoner – hard to find/keep up with. Challenging to kill. Large patrol, double backs and loops, constantly sprinting making it hard to get your guild to her. And her fight mechanics are obnoxious (she knocks you down/immobilizes you and literally keeps running along her path. you have to DPS on the move.)
Sotzz – I would have put him in easy to find and kill, but he’s apparently buggy right now. If he doesnt bug out, he should be doable with 5 people
tricksy – hard to find. Large patrol, and she sometimes ignores her patrol path entirely and just chills elsewhere. Easy to kill.
yanonka – ive only fought this one once. And it was with ~12 people. Boy did she suck. We finished the fight, but she was downing us left and right with the rats. Unfortunately I dont really have enough experience to properly place this one.

The strategy my guild uses for Yanonka (once located) is to use single target damage only – no aoe, no attacks on the rats – that’s when they swarm you and eat your face! There are probably other strategies, but that has worked for us.

We found Bwikki very difficult with a 5 man group… We went against him 3-4 times now, and even though we know we will face many conditions and roots he just destroy us.

His frozen ground just locks up in place and we cannot get out of it reliably through porting. It seems bugged, most of the time when using a porting skill (e.g : blink or lightning flash) we get out of his zone and suddenly we are back in…
Trying to remove the conditions to get out of it is impossible. You have 4 conditions while in it and even if you can remove them they are automatically reapplied while you are still in it.
This only leaves you with invulnerability to avoid the follow up attack (icy spike), and you can only have so much on you at the same time… His frozen ground has a really low cooldown for a 5 man team.
How do you deal with it ?

2mult – easy to find. Next to impossible to kill with small groups

Hum dead, wait what how? Failed? Wait but what are his mechanics ?"

tarban – easy to find. Next to impossible to kill with small groups

Yep 25 stacks of confusions, clean it? yeah go on press that button, just you dare activate just one kitten skill…And if you don’t clean it “knock knock, who is here ? it’s me tarban, I kill you”

Prisoner is easy as long as you have condition removal, constant speed and long range weapons.

Dulfy’s guide is useful to find someone, but not to fight him. Especially when in a small guild. That is the kind of help I am mostly looking for.

I have to disagree. Bwiki for example only has one lil problem. Dulfy is making you aware of that:

‘Do not attack Bwikki when he has this Frost Aura on him. He will apply a chill on you that lasts for 20 seconds and is immune to any damage you dealt when you are chilled. Just stop attacking when you see him with this buff icon.’

Yep the basic fighting mechanic against this boss. But what I am talking about (in my first post here) and wanting to know is how does a small guild manage to kill him given his horrible frost ground mechanic.

Again my problem is : as a 5 man team he will ensnare 2-3 of us very quickly in 2-3 different frozen grounds. Teleports do not work/are bugged , condition removal is not sufficient to get out of his zone. Not getting out of this means a frozen spike, you can’t obviously dodge while immobilized and you go to down state. He will repeat this attack very often, meaning you will die quickly. If 2 people get killed in that fight then the 3 other become his focus which means more damage to them. So they have to run quickly or then you will fail the event if everyone dies.
How do you other guilds deal with him ?
