Guild Wars 2

I’ve created a Guild Tab in my Chat Panel and checked /guild and /say in this panel. I had joined a guild (Bubbles And Blood) already. when I type something in this chat window, it says……You are not in a guild. Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong? I see a few people online in different locations and I assumed that all online guild members would be able to see my chat message.

did you type /g or /guild before? The colour of your text should change.

other options are
/say (local)
/map (full map)
/party (this is for the party only)

edit: I misread your question, did you check ‘represent’ in the guild window? So that your character becomes a member of that guild?

You have to represent the guild. Press G then click represent at the bottom of the window

I don’t see “represent” in guild window but I’m listed as online in guild window…..I’ve checked world in chat window and it still says I’m not in a guild.

I just saw the represent and stand down box and hit it…took my post…..what does stand down do…just shut off chat with guild members?

you leave the guild technicallly with stand down. you will only see represent guild while you are standing in a main city.

My character is out in the country side and I saw the represent and stand down button in lower right of guild window…..I appreciate all the help.

Yeh represent works wherever you are and are you able to chat on guild now Maddav?
