Guild Wars 2

I was just doing a quick search over forums and google to try and find out if/when guild halls are being implemented, and the majority of what I find just sounds like speculation to me. I’ve read that it wasn’t intended to be released at launch but that it and personal housing was intended for the near future afterwards. I’ve also seen that guild halls are no longer being developed. I’ve heard irl that guild halls are coming in a patch within the next couple of months.

So I was hoping a GM or someone with a link to a dev post could clear up the speculation as to whether or not guild halls really are coming soon, or not at all.

I agree I think guild halls should be implemented in the game soon!

This topic has had many, many posts about it and generally they are either in, or moved to by a moderator, the suggestions section.

Having posted multiple times on this subject before I won’t say much more here other than please. Now that that is said, I expect this post to be moved soon.

The only definite quote I remember about it was by Martin Kerstein and he did say Guild Halls would make it into the game, but it would take time. There’s no timeline on it. Player housing was mentioned in the same statement but I’m not convinced it will make it in as soon as Guild Halls even though the comment suggested they would be in at the same time.

No, I can’t find the quote but it was on the Guild Wars 2 Guru forums when he made it.
