Guild Wars Heritage Armor
You get 3 points for completing the campaign of the original (Prophecies) – that brings you to 6 points for the full set. There’s 20 or so missions in the Prophecies. It doesn’t take long. You also need Eye of the North to get to the Hall of Monuments and to place the statue for completing Prophecies, and you will then need to link the accounts.

Do you have to complete the campaign though? I don’t want 6 points, and you get 3 for “linking”, so that’d give me the 3 I need for the coat, boots, and legs. So in theory I could just buy the game and link the account, no?
If you just want the 3 points by linking, then you still need to buy Eye of the North with a base game (any campaign). You also have to unlock the Hall of Monuments by playing EotN to the point where you get there (it doesn’t take long). Then you just link the accounts.

They’ve made a Platinum Edition available that gets you the game and the Eye of the North expansion that you need for the Hall of Monuments. The Guild Wars wiki has a page for HoM reward points that can help you figure out the easiest/most fun path to the number of points you want.
You can get a point for any pet statue if you level up an animal companion to 20. I got most of my points by dedicating the miniatures I got for birthday presents, but there are ways to get a miniature as an in-game reward.

@Auesis,
You are not right. For the base three points you only need a campaign. No visit to the Eye of the north is required. See http://hom.guildwars2.com/en/#page=main&details=AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA&todo=AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA This is my second account that is used for storage and only has access to factions.
@ShadowSong,
Any of the three campaigns will do (so not the expansion Eye of the North). Make an account, create a character, close the game. Link the accounts and you got the first 3 pieces.
To get the other 3 pieces of heritage armor that Auesis was talking bout you also need the expansion Eye of the North. But finishing a campaign is actually the long way.
The fastest way to do this would be getting factions and Eye of the North (expansion).
it basicly works the same for the ohter two campaigns, just takes longer.
1: make a character and level it up to level 10 (in factions this takes bout an hour). Make sure you pick ranger as your primairy or secondairy profession
2: make your way to the port town (kaineng center), accept the quest to travel to Eye of the North and do that till you are in the Hall of Monuments (unlocking 3 hero’s on the way as well as getting a tapestry.
3: display this tapestry at the monument of fellowship
4: continue leveling up till level 20 (another two hours of playing)
5: go to the great temple of balthazar and talk to the high priest Zhang. Although nothing happens, you get 50 tournament points. Go to Tolkano (same area) and use the points to get 10 zaishen keys and sell these to other players (for 6 platinum each, so 60 platinum in total)
6: make a second PvP-only character, go to the Zaishen menagery, and release the lvl 20 wolf.
7: bring your (normal) character to the zaishen menagery and charm the animal using the skill charm animal.
8: use your 60 platinum to buy the following three things from another player.
a: tapestry (about 8 platinum)
b: white miniature (undedicated) (about 15 platinum)
c: deldrimor armor remnant (about 30 platinum)
8: travel to the eye of the north again, and use henchman to get to Gunnar’s hold (follow the first part of the quest Northern Allies (tracking the nornbear)for directions) and talk to gunnar poundfist. get one of the three heroes a new armor.
9: go back to the hall of monuments, display the second tapestry on the monument of fellowship. Put the undedicated miniature on display at the devotion monument and the hero you got armor for and the wolf at the monument of felllowship.
You now got 6 points. make sure you link your accounts and go to the hall of monuments in GW2 to get your full armor set. Total amount of work I think is 5-6 hours, depending how long it takes to buy the things you need.

Mercury, you are aware that those 3 points are given to you in the calculator by assumption of account link through HoM, and don’t actually exist?
Resident Thief
This is exactly what I mean. Everyone says different stuff :x. So the 3 base points I can just make a character after purchasing the platinum edition, then link, then BAM: 3 points and 3 pieces of my heritage armor? Or did I misunderstand and need to play through stuff? I do NOT want all 6 pieces – I just want 3.
I believe you have to unlock the Hall of Monuments before you will see those three points, and you have to be level 10 to do that.

To all who said things above.
The first three points are awarded for everyone who played GW1. There is NO need to own EoTN or to have visited the HoM ever. I have tested this myself and several others. The HoM calculator is saying it right.
The total max amount of HoM points you can get without owning Eye of the north (prophecy’s will be required though) is 8 points.
3 points for account creation
2 points for any statue in honor
3 points for 5 statues in honour.
The statues you can ‘display’ without owning Eye of the North or visiting the Hall of monuments are:
- Eternal defender of ascalon (get level 20 without leaving pre)
- party title max
- drunken title max
- sweet title max
- survivor title max
All those can be reached without leaving presearing and be added to the hall from there. But they are all very time consuming and not very relevant for starting players.
@Auesis. pls take some time to understand how things work before posting. You are confusing ShadowSong like hell with totally wrong assumptions. beside that you where proposing a very long way to get to 6 points. I understand that your trying to be helpfull, but this way you are not.

Q: Why did I receive 3 points for having “Accounts Linked” under the Monument of Honor when I haven’t done any linking yet?
A: When Guild Wars 2 is released, there will be a way to link your Guild Wars account to your Guild Wars 2 account. If you own Eye of the North, you will receive 3 points for linking the accounts together. The Reward Calculator assumes that you will have linked the accounts together, so it automatically gives you those points.
I owned EoTN, but had never visited it until after GW2 started. I had the 3 items available in GW2’s HoM even before I went with my GW1 character to the place and therefore before I had anything up in there.
