Guild Wars 2

I really enjoy the game, its a cross of all my favorite games in the past, all mixed into a nice package.

I never played GW1, though I heard they introduced a number of professions in expansion form. Were there ever any new races added?

When I saw a Skritt in Lions Gate, I immediately thought how great it would be to play one as a Thief. Or Elementalist, or Warrior, any profession!

Any possibility that a new race would be introduced if the fans asked nice enough?

The next likely candidate for playable race, or so speculation says, is the kodan, the polar bear people. But there’s always room for more I suppose. Skritt don’t seem very interesting to play as though, in my opinion.

GW1 never added any races you could only play as human.
I think new races in an expansion is definitely possible. The Tengu as well as Kodan being prime candidates here.

I would like any new race addition, the more variety in game the better. Which race are the Tengu?

I thought they had a good idea with the Skritt. They could develop an underground zone for the race, built beneath one of the existing areas. Would be a really interesting way to expand on the world map.

As soon as I saw the frog people, I wanted to play one. A frog person guardian. I’ll be just like Glenn from Chronotrigger!

Wow hold on here, how about we give GW2 some time to start up lol. No use in asking the first 6 months or year for an expansion and races etc…lol
