Guild Wars 2

Hey there.
Would it be possible to join some guild that has access to the guild armor shoulder skins, quickly buy one and leave again?
My guild does not want to invest into it (we are just a small group). And honestly it is probably a waste to get it just for that one skin.

So yeah, if any friendly guild wants to help me out, that’d be awesome!

And I just found out you cannot get that one at the guild armor npc.
What a horribly missleading item name.

So, is there a way to still get the “Guild defender shoulderplate”?

Currently there’s no way to get the guild defender shoulderplate if you didn’t unlock it with the old PvP rewards system. However, you can get the banded pauldrons that are practically identical.

Save for the chest (which you can get from guild armorers) all guild armor sets have a PvE set that’s almost identical, heavy is the banded armor (http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Banded_armor), which you can get from the TP (IIRC medium is like the caduceus manor medium armor, light is crafted with tailoring).

mhm. I know about the banded armor. I am in the process of skinning my warrior. (pun intended) Problem with the banded shoulder armor is that it is smaller and clips with the chest.

Oh, well. I guess I am really out of luck. Many pieces I randomly find on the wardrobe that I’d want to wear are no longer available or cost a fortune. I wasnt able to get my beloved stalwart medium shoulders either. :<

Edit: And the super awesome new flag back-skin is still only available in that horrible orange. Anet hates me
