So ummm…. Long story short

Situation:
I just returned from taking a year long break and my friends want me to join them, but they are in different worlds. I’m in one world with a guild " I " created specifically to have more storage space, meaning i’m the leader (and the only one in the guild). My friends want me to transfer to another world (ex. Tarnished coast, BlackGate, DragonBrand, etc.). I’m willing to, except that I don’t really wanna lose all the items I’ve worked so hard to get.

Question: My question is….. Will all the items i have in my guild bank go with me? Because I believe that the personal bank would go, but the guild bank on the other hand….???

Your personal guild bank will be fine. You can access guild banks from any server now.

I am not sure if this applies between US and Europe but it seems that you are thinking of transferring within the US servers. By the way, you should only transfer if you want to do WvW with your friends. All other activities together can be easily managed now because of the megaserver.

Well since the other two posters seemed to miss that your the only one in said guild, I would advice you to make a ftp account invite and make it co leader so you can invite your other account back to keep said stuff.

Deleteing all chars and being the only one in a guild will most certainly disband said guild.

Your not deleting your characters to transfer right? Your post doesn’t seem to imply that but if you are be careful because your personal bank will go poof I believe.

Linken has a great idea, it’s always a good idea to have a second in your Personal Guild bank, just in case you accidentally hit the wrong button and leave your guild.
