Guild Wars 2

I’m in a guild and when I want to talk in guildchat I type /g. The text changes into guild chat. However when try to say something, others in the guild can see what I say except me. If others try to talk to me in guild chat I can’t read anything they say… I tried relogging, exiting the guild and coming back into it, even re-installing the entire game. Nothing of all this seems to work. Is this a bug that’s going to be fixed because it’s no fun at all if I can’t follow what they’re saying in guild chat.

Are you representing the guild?

When you accepts a guild invite you then has to choose to represent the guild, and while you may join multiple guilds you can only represent one at a time and it is the represented guild where you see chat from and similar.

Sounds like you may have accidentally turned off guild chat in your chat box. To the left of the text line there is a little arrow, press that, this brings up the chat window. At the top of the window there is a tab called ‘Main’, next to this there is a little down arrow, press it and see if Guild is selected.
