Is it possible to rename the Guild. All the gathered influenz will be lost if i open a new guild. I want just to rename my guild and start over. Any ways for it.

Please consider adding a “Guild Rename Contract” similar to the Name Change Contract!

The name the chosen 6 months ago Aspiring Brotherhood, makes the now 60+ ladies to feel excluded. But since we are maxed out on our upgrades, there is no way we are starting over.

I’m okay with my current (personal) guild’s name for now, but I would definitely like to have the option to change it if I want to.

I don’t see a reason for this not to be available.

While I know its not optimal until they do add a method for renaming the guild I would say just form a new one and KEEP the old one rep the new one to gain influence and grow but switch back to the old one for missions and stuff until the new one has them then you get all the perks of the old guild and the new name. without loosing anything from the old one. and it won’t take long before you get the practice bounties to help build influence for the new one.

I see no reason not to have a guild name change that can be once per guild . The thing is though when forming a guild the name is vital so you want one that you’re not going to tire of or that will get out dated so you need to picky .

I agree, there NEEDS to be an option to change your guild name. Getting a new guild name should not require creating a new guild and inviting all the old guild members to it, and loosing all guild upgrades.

if your guild name is risque to any degree, you could ask people in your server to report it – with enough reports you’ll get a free name change (but have to keep the same tag)

I would love to rename my guild as well. The guild was handed to me with some of the upgrades and I rather not see those upgrade go to waste if I want to make a guild with a proper name to it.

Want this so much too! Hope it is something the devs are considering.

Have you tried contacting support? I’m almost positive the mechanism exists on an Admin level. If you get the right person and are super nice they may be able to help.

We will rename an offensively-named guild. Except in extreme cases, they are not disbanded these days.

It says they rename it though, which means you won’t get to chose the name.

In the case above where the guild name could be construed as sexist, if you explained the situation and requested a name change, they might do it. Be sure to include the guild name you’d like in the ticket. When I would do name changes (for a different game), it was much appreciated when the person told me what they wanted.

While I agree this is a good cause…..it’s now in the wrong Forum. The thread changed from a simple question to a petition (which, BTW, I think is against the forum rules….).

Yes, Guild Rename option please! I made a guild earned and bought influence and did upgrades. Then realized that I made a spelling error.

I guess there is no way for us to move this thread over to the suggestion area?

+1, I can’t think of any reason why guilds shouldn’t be allowed to rename besides hurting their own reputation.

This is especially relevant these days given Guild Halls and the like, I want to rename my guild… But I’m not forsaking the thousands of gold my guildies and myself have given up to make our hall what it is.
