Every time I log in, I get a spam guild invite from the same guild.

Has anyone any ideas on how to stop this?

Decline it or just leave it there. If you leave it there they can’t invite you. :D

Then decline it when you need another guild invite.

An invitation counts as being one of your guilds? Where did you read that? That sounds unlikely.

If you’re in four guilds and have a pending invitation, you can’t be invited by another guild afair. At least the error message says so.

Technically it’d be pointless to be in four guilds and have three pending invitations. If you accept one, what happens to the other two ? Automatic “unvited” ?

You used to be able to have multiple pendings past the 5 guild cap, but when trying to accept an invite while you were in 5 guilds (from the remaining pending, you still couldn’t get invited to more once you were in 5), it would give you a very obscure error. This is their way of fixing that, albeit with a giant band-aid that’s bigger than the wound.

You seem to miss the point of my post.

When I log-in. Every time I log-in. I get the same guild invite pop up.
It’s obviously an automatic spam-message that’s triggered by my log-in.
I have to decline it each and every time, and it pops up again next time I log-in.

I whispered the guild owner asking him to stop it. He apparently couldn’t understand my problem.
It may be a hack, it may be a bug or it could possibly be a feature of the system I don’t know about but it’s annoying as heck and I just want it to stop.

As Esplen said, leave the invite/ignore it. Don’t decline or accept it. You should no longer receive any invite notices even if they are doing something against the rules/botting/whatever.

If I don’t decline it, it remains in my view (in my face) the whole time taking up screen space.
When I log in – there it is again. It’s a real pain.

Having said that, it finally went away – I guess the guy had queued a dozen or two invites and they finally ran out – or he turned the kitten thing off – whatever.
