Guild with two different influence amounts.
The influences do not stack. Our guild has changed servers twice, and each time we had to build up influence and buy upgrades. By combining guilds, I’m assuming you two are in the same guild but on different worlds. In that case, you should probably switch to the world with either the most upgrades/influence or the world that can hold its own in WvW.
Oh I meant meeting a stranger and we discussed it. We are both small guilds (7 or 8 members) and we figure we could get more influence by combining. So to make this clear, we can’t use the other influence for anything? And it apparently costs to switch worlds, so they can’t permanently switch over. That seems to be a bunch of bull.
influence and upgrades are server specific, so whatever influence and upgrades you get on one server wont follow you to any other server. and yes it cost a one time fee to change to another server (the higher the pop of the server the more gems it cost)
If the upgrades go away if you move servers, what happens to the things in the guild bank?

guild banks are server specific too, so remember to put that stuff on some characters and move it into the bank on the new server too. The only thing i noticed that i noticed when moving my guild that was shared between server was guild chat, guild name, and then the guild logo (meaning you dont need to buy the template if you dont have a need to edit it)
Aaaaw …
But I’ve spent so much money to buy drinks for everyone in Divinity’s Reach …
Hmmm… Well thanks for the info. It’s a shame, but i guess it can’t be helped.
The only upgrade that persists is the guild logo (which you can re-learn). The only advantage to re-learning it is to change the logo in the “new” world.
