This happened to me the other day – Boots wouldn’t change color. I tried erasing the colors but that didn’t work either. So, I left it alone for a few hours. later, I tried erasing the colors again and this time it worked. Then I applied new colors and it worked. My guess is that there was some kind of server glitch that prevented the colors form being saved and that it cleared up by itself after a few hours.

I’d open a ticket then.

Maybe you need to run a client repair to fix a corrupted file? If you want to try this go to top of page-Support. Then put client in the search bar to find, Repairing the client.
