Hi,

as th title suggests, I’m crafting HOPE, the new legendary pistol. One of the Items requires you to “Corrupt a Pure Crystalline Phial in your inventory by defeating the Champion Risen Wraith at the Cathedral of Eternal Radiance in Malchor’s Leap”

The Champ in Question is part of defense event, as I understand the Wiki, that is part of the meta event in that area.

I have never in the last few weeks seen the temple contested. Which means the event I need to complete the collection was never available to me.

Is there anyway to better my chances? What needs to happen to make the temple contested?

I have seen the defense event at Village of Wren being done by a single player, or better said, it only takes a player passing by to kill a few mobs and the NPCs of the outpost succeed the event on their own. I don’t know if this event has anything to do with the meta though, i.e. if failing the defense of Wren Waypoint would somehow start the meta event at the Cathedral of Eternal Radiance.

The defense event that needs to fail is at the center of the temple. Then the other event at the Union waypoint has to be mostly ignored to spawn the Wraith. The temple defense event itself is around every 2 hours.

wait for then to fix it or find urself an empty map and wait for it to go out # and wait at the Union waypoint to take out the champ, I suggest u bring ur alt Necro since thief is so kitten now and transfer the item to ur alt first.
