it seems that I need this event, toil for the coil, so I have waited for morethan 2 hours for the event, it’s still not appearing.
Anyone knows about the event?

H.O.P.E Toil for the Coil event
Typically, people let one or more of the pre-events fail, so the chain never gets far enough along. There are a couple of things you can do to increase the likelihood of being there at the right time:
- Join the map after a patch; all the quests reset so you can go directly to stopping the cave trolls and move the chain along.
- Similarly join during the map’s two World Boss events; you’re likely to get on a fresh instance then, too
- Similarly, join on any day that Mount Maelstrom is the location of the four-event daily.
For what it’s worth, every time I’ve worked on Mount Maelstrom for map completion, the chain has been up at some point.

is that the event to open COE dungeon?
if it is, make sure the cave troll event is done (it’s not far away). many don’t bother with it, and forget it is part of the event chain. the coil events won’t happen if it is not done.

By the way, I just stumbled on the event just now. The time of the event roughly at 10:30 PM PST
yep it is a chain event starting from the gulch something area. killing it will open COE waypoint.
