Hey y’all.

I have just a quick question regarding the new Halloween costumes. Is it possible to just equip the broom or axe with your normal town clothes and use their abilities without equipping the entire set?

Yes. It’s the toy (broom, axe, staff, scepter) that gives the costume brawl abilities.

I’ll sometimes switch out of the Mad King clothes if I feel like using its abilities, but don’t feel like being quite so showy. And I spent a large chunk of the year with my Witch Broom on one character, and the Witch clothes on another.

Are the costumes just account bound and not character bound once you wear it? It sounds like you move the gear around?

Gem store costumes are account bound, yes, which lets you move them around freely between characters. Most of my characters have had the Witch outfit on at some point or other.

I specify “gem store costumes” since the default town clothes are soulbound.
