Guild Wars 2

Okay folks, hoping to get a little insight and maybe some help from you.

I want to play with a hammer… so that means I am looking at rolling a warrior or a guardian (I haven’t played GW2 in probably six months, so I am starting over fresh).

I am mostly a loner. I just run around and kill things, join events when I seen them, some sPvP here and there… and probably won’t WvW much unless I am alone and gank bait or find a zerg to follow around list a lost puppy.

So for general PvE solo play, just screwing around, with some occasional pvp thrown in, would a warrior or a guardian be a better choice?

I must admit I havent tried with the warrior but do see a fair share of them walking around. Guardian hammer however I’ve played a lot and its never seemed too good for PvE solo, it seems geared more towards a semi-support role

Both hammers are pretty good, but for pure damage you’d better go for warrior. War hammer is a lot more smooth, and has a few nice conditions too. By comparison, guardian’s hammer is more support-ish kuje Tral said, with more control skills than actual damage (though skill#2 is beast). The autoattack with guardian hammer is really kitten annoying to use also, though it’s not horrible.
