Guild Wars 2

As title says. I’m trying to level an alt after hitting lvl80 on my guardian 1 week ago, but I just don’t have the motivation and I find leveling super boring. I tried completing the first asura zone but getting Hearts done is really repetative.

Any suggestions? Sadly I’m not a big fan of looking around, reading lore and stuff. I just want to hit 80 on the alt and do WvW and dungeons.

If that’s your play style, find a class that sounds interesting and take em’ to the pvp start zone for a test drive.

Get to level 20, then max out all six crafting professions and you will be 80. Can be done in 1-3 days and will cost ~ 50g

You can start dungeons at 30. Well, technically earlier, but you’ll spend more time on your back than anything else if you go too much earlier.

The game doesn’t start at 80. At 30 you have access to a full set of gear and all your skills, so if you invest the time in gearing up properly, you will still be competitive with natural 80s.

80 isn’t a magic number that suddenly makes you all more powerfull. for doing dungeons explorable mode, pugs might ask you to be level 80, this isn’t true for storymode, WvW can be very succesfully done from level 20 and upwards with not a lot of difference.

^ Not always true. Being level 80 makes a considerable difference in the fact that you have the trait points/abilities that you’ve unlocked being that much higher as well as having significantly more utility skills unlocked. Absolutely you can do the dungeons at their specified level and complete them just fine (I did every storymode with in 3 levels after hitting the required) and WvW is great no matter what level, you’ll just be a little bit less effective in 1v1 combat.
