Hi all,
I’m trying to find Metrica Province from Caledon Forest. The Wiki says it is west of the Caledon Haven waypoint. I’m searching and not finding it. Also, is there an easier way to find the cities? Thanks in advance. This forum is always so helpful!

Every city have a portal to Lion’s Arch, once there you’ll see 4 other portals in front of you, 1 for every other main city, including Rata Sum.

The Grove (Sylvari City) is off of Caledon Forest in the south. From there you can take the Portal to the hub in Lion’s Arch and get the Portal there to Rata Sum and take the exit there to Metrica Province (north gate of east vertex).

Or you can simply go to the Wiki and pull up the map of Caledon Forest and find the path to Metrica.

Which is a level 13 area that leads into a level 14 area in Metrica.

Thank you for the replies. I’m embarrassed to say that I’m still lost. I’m in Lion’s Arch, but I see six portals, not 4 and none of them say Rata Sum. I kind of didn’t want to go all the way to The Grove, so I took a shortcut through the PvP Lobby. Any help is so very much appreciated. Thanks again!

go to Gate Hub Plaza Waypoint (copy & paste this chat code into say chat if you aren’t sure where it is [&BBEEAAA=] and press enter, it will link the waypoint for you to click) over there look for the asura gate with asura by the ramp, that will be the one for Rata Sum. in Rata Sum go to the bottom right part of the platform (Metrical Court Waypoint [&BBMEAAA=]), the portal there leads to Metrica.

Unless you shortcut through the PvP zone you should end up where the city portals are.

When you’re at the Eastern Ward WP you can see all the city portals in an enclosure next to you. Each city portal has two guards in front of it that are the race of the city to which it leads. Also you can mouse over them on the minimap to get a popup as to which purple spiral leads where.

Going via PvP means you came out by the PvP portals, so you need to head north over the bridge to the PvE portals.
