Healer Daily: No Credit on 2nd Revive?
Yep, I have seen no credit for revives when doing the dailies. A decent place is around the Vet Boars in Queensdale. I just stand around until the boars kill the hunters-revive them and wait for the boars to kill them again. I didn’t get credit for all the revives that I did.
Yep…
@Blude and others, if you have Ironridge Marches (50-60) setup, teleport to the Sleekfur Encampment Waypoint.
The Charr gunners over there are dead 90% of the time and they may as well be L5 for how well they last against the elementals.

I’ve seen it, I think it’s intentional to prevent constant spamming of leading mobs to them.
That said you can heal one, heal the buddy and then go back to the original with no problems. Diessa lowlands is good for npc deaths.
Apparently there is a cooldown between revives. It may be there to stop people from repeatedly suiciding themselves by leaping off high places so that others can rez them.
A good low level spot for revives is the Thaumanova Reactor in Metrica. Lots of dead NPCs in there.

Makes sense, otherwise you’d get your daily revives by getting 2 people in Fractals and jumping off the side in the lobby.

I’ve got several spots to find NPC’s. This was a player. Well, if it’s a CD, then no need to report as a bug. Thanks.
Just goes to show it just a dumb addition to the game.
Yes, there is a cooldown, it’s about 20 seconds, don’t know the exact time as it’s difficult to die on a timed experiment when it takes time to get to the point of death.
I’ve noticed the same with the daily veteran slayer. I killed a veteran doylak in Wayfarer foothills, stopped to sort my inventory out and it respawned relatively quickly so I killed it again and didn’t get credit. I thought maybe it only let you kill one of each type but I killed another veteran doylak straight after that and got credit. I assume it’s a similar cooldown, either time or based on what you do in between (I’d guess time).
You can heal the same person or kill the same enemy multiple times but you have to wait in between.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
I didn’t realize it was a cooldown, but I did notice a lack of credit for doing the same NPC twice in a row.
The best place for dailies seems to be Triskell Quay in Kessex. You get constantly spawning dead fishers to rez, an almost constantly cycling pair of events between the Krait attack on the town followed by the villager rescue from the larder, there’s a lot of underwater stuff to kill and dodge, etc. For veterans, go to Dendatl Grounds in nw Caledon. Open up the cave there using the boulder to the gong, and inside it’s solid Hylek veterans; you can get all 5 within 100 feet or so, plus you have to kill a vet outside to get to the gong.
