Hello

On march 12th, I had made a bowyers delight and took a screenshot. My health showed 24,032. Since then I’ve added two ascended pieces which had considerably more vitality on them then the ones I had before. I think it was a ring and an accessory. No other changes to my gear, skills, traits, etc. has been done. Also didn’t have any buffs, food, etc. on either when I took the screenshot. Wasn’t in any group either.

Today my health shows 24,026. Any ideas why it went down?

I guess I should add, this is on a lvl 80 sylvari Ranger

3 Possibilities:

1) Down-levelling. If you’re down levelled it will show the health you currently have, not your actual health. If you go to a city or any exploreable area where you can be your actual level it will show your real health. It’s also on the Hero tab.

2) WvW bonuses. One of the bonuses you can get (Robust) increases your maximum health. If your world has been doing worse recently and has a slightly lower percentage on that bonus your total health will be lower. Again look at the Hero tab to see the actual value.

3) Less likely you wouldn’t have noticed but make sure you haven’t changed any traits that affect your health, switched to a weapon set with less vitality, etc.

The ss was taken in Lions Arch and thats where I’m at today when I looked.

Didn’t know about the WvW affecting it.

Positive I didn’t change any gear or traits

Most likely wvw bonuses i agree.. They would seriously need more attention

No. Your health goes up and down depending on the time of week and how well your server is doing in WvW.

Your health will be at its lowest right after the WvW reset. It should get higher as the week progresses.

I take everything literally because you never know. And because of insomnia, I’m usually not awake enough to detect sarcasm, unless someone writes /sarcasm. Even then it’s 50/50. lol
