I just payed for the Heart of Thorns expansion, I know there was a serial code that came up on my screen but I didn’t copy it correctly before trying to enter the code to upgrade my account… now I cant find the code.

Where can I find the code? I haven’t received an email with it and I have lodged a ticket but the response times from AN can take some time. Is there any where else I can find this code?

Going on 4 hours now, that is one hell of a delay. Im glad I didnt want to play this today (sarcasm).

This is quite infuriating. What kind of system is this? Why cant I upgrade my account… you know, like MOST OTHER GAMES! No, instead I am at the mercy of AN’s email system which is obviously a piece of trash and waiting on their CS Team… and last time I needed to contact them it took them 3 days to get back to me. smh

What site was this, was it from an official retailer or not ?

Also check ur spam folder, sometimes it will be under there

If you bought it from guildwars2.com there is an email that acts as the receipt which includes the code.

If you bought it from anywhere except the GW2 site you may need to contact the retailer rather than Anet as they might have their own process for sending the code.

Actually I am pretty sure the code doesn’t get automatically applied if it was bought from anywhere else. Also doesn’t make sense to buy from anywhere else while the official site has it for 50% off while the other places are probably still at regular price …

First, not copying it down properly, literally can copy/paste it but you know that was your bungle there – 2nd not getting email receipt/code, NOT your fault, should have an email. I had to wait a while to get mine bought for a friend. Hopefully u entered your email correctly. :P Did u get a receipt from however you paid? I’m sure u checked all folders for email. Sucks u have to wait. Assuming got it through GW2 site and not some odd place u should get it or CS reply. Hopefully soon!
