Guild Wars 2

My game runs smooth at all settings, but even at the lowest visual settings possible my character is stretching and immediately going back to normal while using skills like 100 blades. This just started occurring a few days ago. What’s confusing me is the fact that it is only my characters getting the weird glitching or the picture immediately in contact with my char, not the entire world or screen. It’s not disrupting game play, but quite annoying.

Has anyone ran into this issue before?

You could try a -repair of the client, in case of corrupted file(s), and/or re-installing/updating/rolling back your graphics drivers.

Here’s a picture of what’s occurring. I’ve uninstalled and installed the client. I haven’t tried rolling the drivers back yet.

Hard to tell what’s happening in that picture. You could try using the in-game function of PrtSc and post that image.

Unfortunately, rolling back the driver’s didn’t do anything for me. If this picture isn’t any better I’ll try getting a video this evening. Appreciate, the help.

To me that just looks like the visual effect for the Quickness boon.

Try checking whether you have Heightened Focus or Sigils of Rage / Agility equipped.

yeh looks like Quickness effect like Torqiseknite said

It just shows you that you are under the effect of that boon
Nothing to be worried about and nothing you can change about it
(except not using traits/skills/sigils that give you the quickness boon)

This is normal. It’s the blur effect letting you know you have the Quickness boon, which increases your attack speed during the effect.

im pretty sure it is caused by the quickness boon:

Engineer, Ranger, Thief, Mesmer, Revenant, Guardian and Warrior all have access to Quickness

Only Elementalist and Necromancer dont have access to Quickness naturally but you could still get quickness with them by using Sigil of Rage for example
