Greetings, what I’m I doing wrong here?

I seem to no longer get coin rewards for anything or get any coin for selling anything. I guess I’m bound to be broke. How does one revive oneself when you don’t have the coin to teleport to the nearest spawn point?

I stopped the game last night with less than 20 coin. I’d played for 4 hours and bought nothing, took part in lots of events and sold a bunch of stuff.

I tend to wander around and join in dynamic events, the game even claims that I get gold level rewards for doing it, however after an event where I ought to have gotten 25 coin, I see nothing. Nada. I can’t find the ‘heart’ person who was ‘running’ the event to ask for a reward and the ‘gold coin’ symbol simply gets removed from my screen a while later.

What I’m I doing wrong here?

Since I was not getting any coin from events but had filled my inventory with loot I went to a vender to sell it. Here I sold off +50 coin of inventory and when I went to purchase something, I had less than 30 coin on me. What gives?

You need to file both a bug report and a support ticket. Support won’t be able to give you the gold you’ve missed, but they can at least elevate the ticked to people who will look at the bug.

Are you sure that the problem isn’t that you’re losing money but that the copper you are receiving is being added up to silver and you’re not noticing that you have silver + the smaller amount of copper?

There are three counters that I’m aware of: Gems, Karma and Coin. (then there’s the exp bar on the bottom of the screen)

When I start a conversation with a vendor and have 30 coin before selling 50 coin of stuff and in the end only have 30 coin, something is wrong or I’m doing something wrong. (sigh)

There is a coin counter that has 3 different types of coin. Gold, silver, and copper. Every 100 copper = 1 silver, every 100 silver = 1 gold.

Do you have something like 1 or 2 silver and then 30 copper? If not, did you buy anything accidentally?

Money for completing hearts is sent via your in game mail, not given by talking to the heart vendor. Check your mail for those which have hearts next to them – you should see an amount of money in the bottom left and a button opposite to accept that money, then you can delete that mail and move on to the next one.

The OP meant the gold rewarded after completing dynamic events.

It looks like you are suffering from a bug. You should contact support.

Well he could be getting the money and not realizing it. I have never heard of someone not actually getting their money from DE’s before. And i’m sure if it was from the last patch the forums would be exploding about it.

I’ll start a new toon tonight when I get home.

I first noticed the issue when I was getting way more ‘completed xxx event’ emblems than I was getting emails about rewards. The real disturbing part is that selling items to vendors do not count ether! (as evidenced by having set amount before visiting vendor, selling enough items to be able to afford an item and not having any more coin then I started with and unable to purchase item.

You don’t get mail for event rewards, just heart rewards.

Did you check the gold, silver, copper thing? You can do that by pressing “i” to open your inventory.

What happens if you check your amount of coin before you participate in an event, then finishing it (check how much you should receive from the event, it is stated below the medal how much you should receive) and then you take a look at your coin amount again. Has it changed?
You will receive it automatically.

And the golden coin symbol (= the medal I mentioned) you were talking about above just says how good you participated in the event (there are three symbols, they differ in their color: gold (very good), silver (good), copper (still good)), for the case you did nothing, there won’t pop up a symbol to show your participation and you won’t receive a reward. (I know that’s not happening here, just for completion)
