Guild Wars 2

Hi! My name is Remi! I am currently 21 years old and come from Norway.
I’m currently in the army and studying to become a pilot. I’m otherwise a kind, social player who likes to play online games ^^.

I’m currently in a state where I have lot’s of games to play, but don’t want to play any. I’m sure many of you can relate..

I’m an MMO enthusiast, and now that I don’t feel like playing WoW anymore, I wanna try Guild Wars 2. I’ve owned gw2 for about 6 months I think, and I started playing it together with a friend. I didn’t really give it a shot and only got to about level 15. I think i’ve played more gw1 than I have 2 :P

Anyway…

What got me off the game was that I heard that all you can do in end game is PvP over and over again.. Is this true? Is PvE non-existent?

Also… I’ve realised that it isn’t very much the MMOs that I played that made me bored and quit, it was the very fact that I didn’t have anyone to play with… I remember impulsively buying this game just because my friend and I were equally excited about playing together, but just as he quit I quit as well..

TL;DR: Are there any active guilds out there, preferably around the Europe timezone and server that are recruiting social players? If so please link a website if I have to apply, or tell em what server to go to I wanna get involved, but I have to start a new character and level up and stuff first before I get involved in PvP and the PvE end content..

PvE endgame is pretty much whatever you make it. You can run dungeons and fractals. You can craft legendaries. You can join large boss fights (I’m thinking Teq and Triple Trouble not the regular critters). There also PvP elements (either sPvP (small 5 man teams) or WvW (large scale)) that people can join in with.

I’m a little a biased so I’d say join Aurora Glade. With regards to guilds I’m happy to have chat about the guild I’m in if you’re interested otherwise I’d advise either checking the Looking For.. forum here or looking on the community website for the server you join.
