Help finding fast way to level
PvP regularly gives tomes of knowledge. If I didn’t have all my characters at level 80 already I’d have like 800 levels stored up.
It’s a great way to make gold, do dailies, and have fun, and you get the levels as a side benefit. So if you want to do it anyway it’s perfect. It’s probably not worth it as a pure level farm though.
- on your warrior’s first / second birthday, you’ll get a scroll that brings another char directly to 20 (and a similar scroll for the third birthday even to 30)
- dailys and PvP reward tracks give tons of tomes of knowledge. I’m keeping 250 at the bank for new professions and I’m just using the rest, since there are too many to keep them all.
- exploring cities is an easy way for some extra levels
- crafting may be expensive, but each profession brings you some levels. cooking may be the only one that’s worth it, since the others are kinda costly
- EotM should still work, since events bring a good amount of XP, too. Any other area with high frequented events should work the same, e.g. HoT maps
Im note sure about the fastest way. But the perceived fastest time for me, has been to not focus on hearts at all. Just running around exploring and doing events. Its a lot more fun than trying to always do the whole map.
Yes, EotM is still viable IF your server is good, I leveled an alt to 80 in 2 days without boosts a month ago (I’m on a tier 1 server). Crafting was nerfed, you won’t lvl to 80 with it (but you’ll get some levels anyway).
The fastest, non-consumable and non-crafting, way has been EotM. This depends on you being on a good server and having a decent commander. The next best would be world completion. There are maps out there online which show the optimal routes.
Another way to level fast, although it will likely be frowned upon, is to stock up on XP boosters and then go to DS. Being in a squad should allow you to hit that damage threshold and get credit for kills. I personally haven’t tried this so it may or may not be worth doing.

EotM for me at least depends on the time of the day. There are times where I log in and there is nobody on the map.
I would not advising just crafting to gain all your levels, as if you need a certain craft, it will cost an arm and a leg to switch your crafting skills around, but some mix of crafting and exploration is good.
Also, since you have a level 80 run the low level fractals, if you do three of them, it rewards you with a tome of knowledge once per day. Most people run fractal level 2, 10, and whatever the daily fractal is. You don’t need agony resistance unless you are running fractal 20 or higher.
