can someone lend me 3 gold for the grandmaster skill book? ill give you the gold back as soon as i have it

Not to come off as offensive, but you’re not really asking for help here, it’s more like panhandling or begging. 3 gold isn’t really all that much if you think about it. Find things to sell on the trading post, do a ton of events, a few dungeons if you feel like it, complete maps, and just play the game. I am pretty casual and don’t farm or grind anything, I just play when I can and have fun, and I’ve got close to 10 gold myself, plus a bunch of things I could sell. It’s really not that hard, just takes some effort on your part.

If you need to make a thread about lending 3g,i doubt you have it back soon or are even able to pay the person back,if ever.Just do like everyone else did and earn the money while leveling,farming,doing dungeons,whatever way possible.Can you imagine if every player in guild wars would open up a thread about lending gold for something?

Also in fact there is lots of very viable build that dont got above 20 deep in any trait line

What I normally do when in need of money is empty my materials tabs in the bank. All materials I gather are going there. Mostly for crafting. But I tend to forget the traitbooks and in those situations I sell the lot and ge tthe money in an hour.

Yes, I can. I will mail you 3g when I get home to the game this evening. I will also count on you paying it back as you have said. That is your last skill book, so it probably won’t take you very long to make it back — no more than a week or two, so it won’t hurt me to wait that long to receive it back.

If you’d like I’ll also give you some pointers on making gold in this game. It isn’t as intuitive as most games.

However, panhandling threads should not be allowed on these boards and compliance by others to the OPs outstretched, open palm will only encourage others to attempt the same.

If it isn’t allowed I’m sure a moderator will be along shortly to close it down. In the meantime, I am willing to make this loan. Would I be willing to make the next one? I don’t know, but it should be me making that decision and not you.

I’ll admit that this isn’t something I would normally do. It may be something as silly as I once had a very good friend named Kris that I lost track of somewhere through life, and the OP’s name made me feel kindly toward them. Or maybe it’s that I was staring at my gold last night and wondering what I would be buying with it… But regardless, in this instance I’m willing to make this loan. My choice.
