Guild Wars 2

So, a while back , I went to farm the Rich Ori vein during the Lost Shores event with a group of people. We all got wiped out but there was this guy who used a skill (for lack of a better name) that created a ghost of himself and proceeded to rez himself with it. After that, he just calmly walked past the enemies without them attacking him, taking around 5 seconds before they started attacking him.
Anyone has any idea of what this is?

Yes, that is a Revive Orb. Very useful for getting to difficult places like the bottom of Rata Sum (which kills you from fall damage when you jump down).
