Guild Wars 2

I can’t decide if I want to play a warrior, guardian, or a thief. I was hoping to get some input from people who have played all three, or just have input on one of the classes. Which do you prefer, and why?

Which one is the most versatile in PvE?
Are Thieves purely in-your-face damage, or can they serve other roles?
Which one is the most challenging to play?

Getting bored of just standing back and running a rotation of skills. I want to be more involved and diverse with my combat.

They’re all versitile PvE options, thief is a bit more fragile but you have stealth and shadow steps to make up for it.

All classes have support functionality and the thief is no exception. With the right skills you can stealth an ally if they have too much heat on them, use traps, scorpion wire, and caltrops to keep the enemy from getting at them, venoms to inflict conditions, and with the traits bountiful thief and thrill of the crime, every time you steal you grant nearby allies might fury and swiftness for 10 seconds, vigor for 15, and two additional boons you can steal from an enemy.

Challange wise, I couldn’t give you exact details since I found all 3 to be fairly easy to play with.

Guardian and warrior have somewhat more similar characteristics, with the guardian has more support options for his allies.
Thief only has melee in common with the other 2. Other than that, it’s quite different.
Guardian and warrior allow for a more traditional mmo approach for battles (i.e. stand rooted, and hit), while the thief require more movement, but being all melees, if you don’t move all will eventually die.

As stated above me, thief has a more stealthed elegant movement.
I play guardian and can solo most of the challenges up to level 75 map challenges. Haven’t played warrior, but I heard they can do more or less just as well. I have a low level thief, and it’s a different game, different mechanics to notice, and requires more environment awareness.
