Guild Wars 2

Got lvl 74 hunter lvled from 50 to 74 in wvw and I heard they were bad in WvW WHEN COMPARED to other classes.

Which class would you recommend me to roll?

I like top:
- Deal Damage
- Being able to 1 v 1 and be usefull in zergs/WvW
- Not dying to quickly while still dealing dmg like I said above.
- If Possible AoE abilities.

No ele’s or hunters please.

With hunter you mean thief right? Thieves are actually very good in WvW (roaming).

I think he means ranger since hunter is what the class is called in other games. Anyway if you are not happy with the class i would say try out warrior.

Warrior is #1 in PvE, top-tier in PvP, and top-tier in WvW (you can roam with GS/anything or S/Warhorn+anything, or zerg with hammer/longbow). Also, because it is a warrior, it will always receive improvements from the devs: it is their favorite class!

As odd as this may sound necro would be the class I think most fits what your describing.

Warrior and Guardians are the best at kitten near everything. You never have to worry about nerfs when you play Anets favorite class (WAR)

Warriors are basically super tier right now, in massive demand in PvE (though admittedly this isn’t justified most of the time), solid in PvP and great WvW roamers in addition to being amazing in zergs.

Best WvW classes I’d say would be warriors, guardians and elementalists. Everything else, well you can’t really stack them like you can those first three.

Warriors and Guardians. I personally love my Guardian more than my Warrior, but both are 80 (as is my Engi), but from what you’re describing, Warrior, Guardian, and MAybe Necro would fit you. Warriors are ridiculous God Tier right now. Guardians are super close, they just fall short of Warriors from a health perspective.

People say thieves and Mesmers are great for WvW, which isn’t wrong, but they’re more “specialized” classes. My Guardian runs pretty much 1 build with changing armor, and I roam, do group events, zerg wvw, and pretty much everything except SPvP with it, and it works great. Warriors are pretty much the same. Thieves are decent, but they’re getting easier and easier to shut down, and Mesmers need to be really smart or they can easily outplay themselves.

Up to you, but I’d stick to the heavy classes. Learn them, get used to them, and have fun being the backbone of pretty much every GW2 meta lol

I personally run Thief/Ranger(at times lol ranger) and my level 28 guard(Will use him more if he ever gets to level 80). You are going to have to stay on your toes more as a thief since you rely on stealth and you have low hp and armor for most builds.

So if that doesnt sound like what you want roll WAR and or Guard like i said earlier
