Guild Wars 2

Hi guys.

I’m really struggling to choose a profession and stick with it. I really want to get to max level but I keep getting de-motivated and my mind tells me to create a new char -.- haha.

I currently have Warrior level 29, Elementalist 35, and Thief 34. I don’t think any of these entice me enough to keep playing them for some reason, I can’t decide why either.

I like my characters to have cool looking armour, to do really nice damage and to be worthy of PvP and PvE, mostly PvP.

If you was in my position, what would you choose and why. Please don’t respond ‘play what you want to play’ im looking for opinions of your own as to why the profession you would play would be a good choice. This may make my mind up. Ive also watched many videos and still cant decide.

I have 80’s in all professions and in my preference I play my guardian the most (pretty much all the time) and my thief second. The rest are as needed or never played. Warriors are everywhere so I never feel the need to use mine as I like the play style of guardians much more.

I also believe it will help you stick to a class by choosing the right race as well. My ele never gets played anymore cause it was my first character and I made it a norn. After playing Asura (my thief) and a small human (my guardian) I have found it more enjoyable to have smaller toons.

If you like PvP the most, thief’s can burst out a substantial amount of damage incredibly quick. But all classes have their pro’s and con’s in PvP.

If I were in your position I would go with the thief over the other 2. Tougher to master the class but once you do, man are they a friggin pain in WvW/PvP lol. Their stealth abilities and DPS are always nice to have in dungeons also. Feel free to add me as a friend in game and ask some questions or even help with stuff.
