Guild Wars 2

So I haven’t seen any thread like this around, maybe we can get some help recreating armors in game. I currently am leveling up my guardian and want to try to make him look something like this:

I’m guessing draconic helm and shoulder and the rest can be just normal armor, do you guys know what armor looks most similar to the picture?

Also feel free to post your own armor ideas or advice!

Gyler, can you give us a little more info on your character? Race and Gender, in particular. Can’t very well suggest an armor if we don’t know that it’ll look the same as what we’re seeing.

chest and head i would agree somewhat not for the rest of the pieces though

heh, this sounds fun. which race are you?
here be m’ take on this:

• Helm – heavy plate (PvP name), draconic and human t3 come to mind here
• Chest – like other have said, looks like it could be Nightmare (TA)
• Shoulders – hmm… if you do go with human, maybe human t2. draconic to a certain extent. temple male to a lesser extent. probs not this next one, but pit fighter (PvP name) / devona’s (iirc PvE name, i.e. exotic named), at least one side sort of looks like those spikes
• Gloves – heavy plate (PvP) or again, draconic, or vigil
• Pants – dark (karma armor) to a certain degree, but without the cloth bit; human t3 maybe if you wanna replicate the cloth; CM dungeon armour as well has the cloth but the texture of the “metal” bits don’t match as well
• Boots – maybe AC dungeon or HotW dungeon ones. i vote HotW ones.

HEH, I like it.
Didn´t think the (male reproductive organ)-sword could be replicated.
But after taking a short peek here, I think the Greatsword of the Dragon’s Deep would fit the best?

BTW, even that game has better medium armor than we do. :P

how about the ghastly greatsword?

That reminds me somewhat of a cross between the old Elite Kurzick and Elite Luxon armors from GW1 lol. Maybe you’ll get lucky one day and they’ll release those legacy skins in the gem store.

Draconic helmet comes to mind, and perhaps temple shoulders.
