Hi all.
My character is Norn, but I want to change the play zone and go to human zone a playing with my friends. How can I do?

You should take the portal to Lion’s Arch from Hoelbrak. There you’ll arrive at an island filled with portals, you only need to take the portal with the Seraph guards next to it, and you’ll end up in Divinity’s Reach..

Go back to Hoelbrak and look for the pink swirl map marker. Go through the portal you find there and you’ll end up in Lion’s Arch – the main city. Then look for another one with Seraph guards outside (I think it will be ahead and slightly to your right as you come out the portal, but I could be wrong there) and you’ll end up in Divinities Reach – the human starting city.

On the top bar there is a tab called PvP. Click on that and you’ll have a button called go to the heart of the mists. Click on it and you’ll go there, once you load in you will see a portal, enter that. That will take you to LA. Go north across the bridge from where you spawn in, take a left on that platform until you reach another bridge, take that bridge and then take the first portal on your right. That will get you to the human city divinity’s reach. Just go to the south of the map to find the transition into queensdale, the human starting zone.

The very first time you go to the PvP area you land in the PvP training area. Head north to a broken tower with broken steps. Go up, there is a portal at the top, go through. This will take you to the main PvP area which has the portal to LA.

Or, you can go into WvW. (That’s a tab on the top menu bar too)
Whichever battleground you join, there will be a gate to Lion’s Arch nearby.

People always overlook the fact you have to do the PvP tutorial first before you get to the area with the portal to Lion’s Arch. It only takes like 5 minutes to do but if you go looking for the LA portal when you haven’t unlocked the PvP area first it’s confusing.

Also don’t forget, waypoints in cities are free within the city.

You don’t actually need to do it. You can just run straight through and up the stairs. But yeah it could be confusing if you expect to see a portal right away.
