I have the expansion but I want to buy the digital deluxe upgrade to get the Krytan armor set for 2k of gems, if I buy there’s no risk of me losing HoT right?

You will not lose HoT or anything else related to your account. You will simply acquire the perks of the upgrade.

Make sure you purchase the Core Guild Wars 2 Digital Deluxe Upgrade, rather than the Heart of Thorns Digital Deluxe Upgrade.
