Guild Wars 2

Hello hello,

I recently stopped playing GW2 couple oof months ago I think when sea of sorrows patch was implemented.

I got to max level and didnt really do that much towards end game or I didnt even know where to begin.

whats the best thing for me to do when I login in tonight? I’ know their is puzzles and a massive world I still need to explore and compelete my story mode quests , however what else do I Need to do at max level? How does it all work? i have mesmer and its a ok class but maybe I should start a other toon?

You want to think about refining the gear on your character. There are many ways to go about this, here’s a good guide:

I think this is part of the reason you probably quit the game – you didn’t know what to do or “how to find YOUR way to have fun”. I would suggest just trying a bit of everything and seeing what you find the most fun, here’s a few things you could try:

Clear maps
Try doing dungeons/Fractals

Exploring areas (not clearing, actually exploring see where that npc walks, find that out of the way cave etc).

Go and help random strangers when they need it – good place to start is Queensdale, I am always finding new players there who need help with a sp/vet or whatever.

Try some jump puzzles.
Try some sPvP.

That’s a short list but hopefully a starting pont. Oh and DON’T try to rush finding your fun, sometimes part of it is going slow!

Also, make sure to check out the Flame & Frost content in Diessa Plateau and Wayfarer Foothills. (Talk to the Herals NPCs in each city. They’re marked with yellow stars on the map.)

It’s not much at the moment, as it’s only the introduction to some bigger event that’s coming in future updates. That said, the first update is set to happen on February 26th.
