I have a lvl 10 Human Ranger, and I can’t find any other armor but the general armor that they sell everywhere which looks the same! I’m not trying to look amazing at lvl 10, but I’m wondering where is the unique armor? What are the medium armor sets from 1 to whatever you know? Where can I get it? When I play mmo’s, I usually look for a strong armor set, and try leveling till I can equip it. But I’m not able to do that now, because I dunno what I’m looking for. Also I checked the trading post, barely found anything in there. Can someone give me a GUIDE?

I’m sorry, but at level 10 you’re probably not going to find any cool armor. The coolest armor is at 80, and while there are some nice pieces beforehand, medium armor especially doesn’t look too good in the early levels.

Be happy with your original medium armor – at 40 you start to get the abysmal pirate gear which saturates 40-80 and is horrid.

It is probably a bit higher than 10, but I rather liked the craftable armor for my Ranger.

In the early stages of the game there are three main armour appearances available, and you can pick them up through your personal story (be aware that you can right click the images when picking a reward to preview it on your character first!). You can also get them as drops, with time and luck. The armour for sale from Armorsmiths is always the same starter stuff in appearance.

Crafting will get you new armour nicely, so consider taking up leatherworking if you’re into that – though it can take a while to get new styles. Also check out the cultural armour sets (for humans, there are three little blue helmet icons on the map in Divinity’s Reach near the central garden) – you won’t be able to equip them for some time, and it will be even longer before you can afford them, but you might find something to work towards!

I would say not leveling crafting. You can buy almost all crafting armor in the game from the TP for the same price as it would for the mats.

You can gather mats, sell them, and buy the armor without having to sink money into crafting

Also if you have transmutation stones and money, you can buy the prettier pieces that are higher leveled and use the skins on your low end pieces. But it takes so little time to level, and you keep getting new gear, that you might not want to do that all the time.

At level 20 you start getting some cool things, and your personal story rewards usually include neat skins. Mostly just give it time, you’ll find the stuff as you go.
