Guild Wars 2

I am completely lost with terms used in these forums for Guild Wars. Can someone please list the important ones.

I can’t understand most of the posts with all there shorthand acroynms used.. For example read in a post… HS is a bad way to play. Period.

WTF? With out any definitions somewhere these forums are useless to figure anything out as I am not able to understand what I am reading.

OP = Is often used as Overpowered or Original Poster.

HS = Heartseeker, a thief skill.

RET = Retaliation (Boon) (At least that’s most likely the case, not sure what else it could be.)

Could we start a glossary on the forum for newbies?

AoE = Area of Effect
DoT = Damage over Time

etc?

Not really a need to make a glossary, can go to somewhere like this.
