Hi everybody,
I have created a new character, human ranger. And I really want to have it similar to this: Sir Aaron! Have you got any suggestions which armor and dye I should try.

Well there aren’t any capes in the game, but other than that i think the WvW armor is a close fit. Rangers can’t use a staff btw.

Which specific WvW armor you mean? I am aware about the capes, that is pity, and that staff doesn’t matter. What about dye? About blue I found Blue rose dye, Robin or Hydrangea. Grey probably Green tint and some yellow details from Flare?

The lvl 80 kind.

The Rogue set is also somewhat similar to Sir Aaron, if you’re looking for something simpler.

EDIT: the two best resources I’ve found for dyes are this dye chart and this dye preview code list. Hope that helps.

There are no capes, but maybe you can get the look with a trenchcoat. Human rogue would be the closest, IMHO:

Maybe with the outlaw gloves:

and hide the shoulder.

The harest part would be the weapon, IMHO, since rangers can’t use staves or scepters, which are what could maybe look like that one.

Hi. After a year I’m asking you one more time about some tips for an armor which looks like that picture of sir Aron. With the new extension I’ll be able to use a staff as a ranger. So it’s perfect time to ask. Thank you all!!

Why don’t you go in the game and look at the wardrobe (at any bank/crafting station)? You can see pretty much every skin in the game there, so you could mix and match until you find something close.

Is that possible? I did’t know there is a feature to preview locked skins I have to try it! Thanks a LOT!!!

No problem! I’ve spent way too much time staring at the Wardrobe to try to make my characters look fancy and awesome, so I use it quite often.
